Student Athlete Advisory Council is made up of two representatives from each sport team. The council will meet once a month to discuss topics that will enhance the student-athlete experience. Topics of discussion include NJCAA Legislation, community service opportunities, fundraising opportunities, possible sponsorship, and events for Laramie County Community College students. The Student Athlete Advisory Council will be the voice of the student-athlete from a department level to an institutional level.
1. To represent Laramie County Community College athletic programs on campus and in the community through leadership and excellence.
2. To provide an opportunity to student-athletes to improve on personal and professional qualities in areas of service, leadership, organization, and planning.
3. To build relationships by providing reliable contacts and liaisons between Laramie County Community College Department of Athletics, institution administration and the athletic teams that represent the institution, as well as the rest of the student body, faculty, staff and community.
Organization meeting times and location
Meetings will be once per/month at a time that accommodates members class and athletic schedules in the RAC classroom, Rm 143.
Indicate requirements for students to join the organization. If there are no requirements, please list "none".
Each varsity team will nominate 2 representative to be members of SAAC.
